Sorry to take so ong to reply! As for the pencil drawing, it all helps if you keep things tidy when doing the picture itself, but it also largely comes down to messing around with it in Photoshop and playing with the 'levels' to get the contrast right Takes some practice, but it's very doable.

Hiya, just a random stranger here! I just found out about Mokepon yesterday (I fail to understand how I'd never come across such an amazing comic before!), and gosh, I really love it. C: George's just too adorable for words! <3 You got yourself another follower, haha.
Do you think it would be all right for me to make some Livejournal icons out of your comics? I just adore how you do facial expressions and some of those would be perfect icons~ I'd credit you, of course!
