Forbidden Arts

Named thus because I shouldn't really have been drawing this at all. I should have been working on my tight deadlined animation, but I saw my sketchpad and I felt like it was crying. I hadn't drawn in it for days... Which is terrible. So I picked it up and started doodling and it ended up filling a whole page with an actual picture; chuffed I was. That never happens.

This is Ludo and Mordecai. They're both wizards, both more or less immortals and ex-best friends. I've drawn Ludo as a kid before but I wanted to draw him as an adult. The guy on the right is Mordecai. At first glance he seems pretty serious but he's what I like to think of as... Cheerfully sarcastic. And with a constantly smirking face that over time people tend to want to punch. He's also the worst guitar player in the world, he's spent his extended lifetime trying to get better at it. To little avail.

I can't wait to make the story with these guys in. Someday. And I can't wait to fix this picture up too... Again, someday. Someday over the rainbow.
