Okay now THIS is from a long time ago. I must have been... Eight or something. I remember that at school in the playground there was this wall where there were always lots of tiny little bugs crawling about. We called 'em bloodsuckers... Mostly based on the fact they were red, rather than any evidence that they did in fact suck blood. It became a regular past time amongst many students to squish these bugs, but this girl's morality just... Perplexed me. And upset me. That last panel is exactly what I thought at the time.

I was an annoying kid. You wouldn't have liked me.

You seemed like a sweet child to me; you had more heart than the girl squishing the bugs.

Lmao! I know the bugs you mean! What the hell are they?! We used to call them that to XD

Aww meany! I could never squish them. I once put salt on a slug as a kid and it was the biggest regret of my life! (That and not buying that Wolf's Rain boxset and goodies...)

I used to call those red bugs blood-bugs but then I found out they ate cement so I just called them "those weird red bug things"

we had a similar thing at my school when I was eight... except it was squishing bees on a lawn. One kid hated bees because one stung him one day when he was six... so he convinced a group of kids to go on a "bee genocide" as he called it. I just watched from the jungle gym, the only one realizing they had lost their collective marbles...

He got stung within a month or two of this behavior. We also learned the main reason why he hated them that day... he was allergic to bee-stings. Great news though, he survived. the bad news was he wasn't allowed on the lawn again for the rest of the year...

Wait, is your name Rebecca? Me too :D

And poor baby bugs :c Was this a brick wall, and they were smaller than a flea? Yeah, I know those things :O For some reason they love bricks.

Oh man, I remember those bugs at school xD we called them blood bugs.

But I remember them all being roughly the same size, so how that girl knew which ones were adults makes me wonder.

Ohnoo xD Poor little baby bugs!
I'm pretty sure we called them bloodsuckers at my school, too ahaha~ But no-one squished them, we just kept clear of them for fear of getting our blood sucked xD
